Bassinets and Cribs: frequently asked questions
- Bassinet or straight to crib?
- A bassinet earns its space for the first three to four months because it fits in the bedroom and is easier to lift the baby out of. A convertible crib then takes over.
- Is the SNOO worth the price?
- For some families, yes. The extra newborn sleep is real for babies without reflux. Rentals exist. Plenty of less-fancy bassinets work too.
